About Green Future
Green Future began in 2024 as JCI Dhaka Founders’ continuing commitment to climate action and environmental responsibility.
Through tree plantation, student awareness sessions, and partnerships with schools and local organizations, the project encourages communities to not only plant trees, but also nurture and protect them for long-term impact.
The initiative supports SDG 13: Climate Action while promoting a greener and more sustainable Bangladesh.

Green Future 3.0
In 2026, Green Future 3.0 continued in Bhaluka, Mymensingh, promoting community-led climate action. Once mature, the trees are expected to absorb 4+ tons of CO₂ annually.

In 2026, under the leadership of Local President Afshana Rahman, JCI Dhaka Founders continued Green Future for its third year.
With Vice President Nafiul Hasan leading the initiative, Green Future 3.0 reinforced the chapter’s belief that protecting the environment is not only an aspiration—it is a shared human duty.
Green Future 2.0
In 2025, Green Future 2.0 expanded across Barisal and Dinajpur, reaching three schools and engaging 700+ students. The project planted or distributed 265 trees while promoting tree care, climate awareness, and environmental responsibility.

Under the Leadership of S M Mehedi Hasan
In 2025, under the leadership of Local President S M Mehedi Hasan, Green Future expanded into its second year.
The project planted 265 trees, engaged more than 700 students, and encouraged young people to take personal responsibility for nurturing trees and protecting the environment.
Green Future
Green Future began in 2024 as a nationwide tree-planting and environmental awareness initiative by JCI Dhaka Founders in collaboration with Lightshore Network. Across multiple phases, the project planted 511 trees in five districts, combining plantation activities with student education and long-term community involvement.
