About Breaking the Cycle
Breaking the Cycle began in 2024 to help adolescent girls understand menstrual health, challenge social taboos, and gain better access to safe hygiene products.
Through school-based awareness sessions, sanitary pad distribution, and pad storage facilities, the initiative encourages girls to understand their bodies with confidence, dignity, and awareness.

In 2025, under the leadership of Local President S M Mehedi Hasan, JCI Dhaka Founders continued Breaking the Cycle across two schools in Dinajpur.
The initiative reached 132 girls and combined awareness with practical sanitary support, helping students approach menstrual health with greater confidence and dignity.
