About Books for Change
Books for Change began in 2024 to give underserved children better access to books, reading spaces, and learning opportunities.
Working with Lightshore Network, JCI Dhaka Founders has established libraries at Pushpokoli School and Choice 2 Change, providing books across fiction, science, technology, and other genres.

Under the Leadership of S M Mehedi Hasan
In 2025, under the leadership of Local President S M Mehedi Hasan, JCI Dhaka Founders expanded Book for Change by establishing a library at Choice 2 Change.
The initiative continued the chapter’s mission to empower young minds by creating greater access to books and learning opportunities.

The journey began in 2024 when JCI Dhaka Founders and Lightshore Network launched a library at Pushpokoli School near Kalsi. Students received books across multiple genres, including fiction, thrillers, science, and technology, creating a dedicated place to read, learn, and grow.

Under the Leadership of Nahid Hasan
In 2024, under the leadership of Local President Md. Nahid Hasan Kaysar, JCI Dhaka Founders launched the first Books for Change library at Pushpokoli School.
The project created a dedicated reading space and marked the beginning of a broader mission to bring books and learning opportunities to more underserved students.
