Why It Matters
The Munda community faces severe water scarcity caused by salinity and limited access to safe drinking water, with some residents travelling 2–3 kilometers to collect water.
This project combines immediate water access with practical knowledge, helping the community maintain rainwater tanks and Pond Sand Filter systems for long-term water security.
Together We Made It Possible
The initiative brought together JCI chapters, community organizations, technical expertise, and media support.
