About Water Conservation Awareness

On December 1, 2024, JCI Dhaka Founders and JCI Dhaka Diplomats organized a Water Conservation Awareness Session in Sharankhola with Lal Sabuj Society and Lightshore Network.

The session engaged 60 participants in discussions about the value of water, local shortages, and practical ways to protect community water resources.

Why It Matters

Water scarcity is an increasing challenge for communities in Sharankhola.

The initiative encouraged residents to move beyond awareness and identify practical ways to protect water reserves, restore unused Pond Sand Filter (PSF) systems, and secure water resources for the future.
