Under Nahid Hasan’s leadership, JCI Dhaka Founders achieved the No. 1 position for 100% efficiency and was recognized as the Most Outstanding New Local Organization.

With 66 members, the chapter delivered impactful initiatives across education, health, sustainability, youth development, humanitarian support, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration—continuing its mission of shaping leaders for tomorrow’s world.

Key Projects & Initiatives

Transformative programs that created lasting impact in our community.

Hugs of Hope

Hugs of Hope provides winter relief to vulnerable communities across Bangladesh, supporting 1,600+ individuals in 4+ districts, with over BDT 214,500 raised since 2024.
Breaking the Cycle

Educated 700+ girls on menstrual hygiene and installed sanitary napkin dispensers in 6 districts. Also distributed pads to 100 students at Bottoli High School.
Water Conservation Awareness

A joint effort by JCI Dhaka Founders & Dhaka Diplomat to raise awareness on water conservation in Sharankhola, Khulna, with 60 participants, addressing local water shortages.
Rainwater Harvesting Tank Setup

Set up rainwater harvesting tanks for 3 Munda families (12 members) in Koyra, Khulna, providing sustainable access to clean water.
Career Connect 2.0

A program focused on equipping participants with digital skills and career development tools to excel in the digital job market.
Flood of Kindness

A relief initiative to support flood-affected communities by distributing essential supplies, including food and emergency aid, to those in need. Volunteers also provided on-ground support in heavily flooded areas.
Home for the Homeless

An annual humanitarian initiative supporting vulnerable individuals at Apon Ghor Foundation through care, compassion, and continued community support.
Green Future Project

Green Future began in 2024 as a nationwide tree-planting initiative by JCI Dhaka Founders and Lightshore Network. It planted 511 trees across five districts, involving students and communities.
Books for Change

Established libraries at Choice 2 Change and Pushpokoli schools, raising 248+ books and distributing 150 books to 200 students, fostering learning for underprivileged children.
Mental Health & Well-being

Helped 33 corporate women improve work-life balance and manage stress through 3 mental well-being sessions and 2 fitness workshops.

A Message from the President

For me, 2024 was about turning our foundation into visible impact. We grew as a chapter, but more importantly, we reached people through projects in education, health, environment, humanitarian support, and youth development.

What I value most is not the number of projects we completed, but the people who came together to make them possible. Every member, partner, and volunteer gave something of themselves to this journey—and that is what made the year special.
